Weather is beginning to cooperate for constructing the addition at Chillicothe Elementary School. Superintendent Dr Dan Wiebers says they are seeing work take place on the site. Wiebers says they hope to see progress continue.
The preparations for the 2023 Graduation Ceremony are well underway, and that includes approval of those that will receive diplomas as they cross the stage. The Chillicothe R-II School Board set the date to handle that task. The Graduation Ceremony takes place three days later.
The Chillicothe School District is anticipating approval of the Career Ladder program through the state legislature again this year, but some paperwork needs to be submitted ahead of that approval.
