A Sullivan County bridge, closed since early January for replacement under the FARM Bridge Program, reopened Friday. The Missouri Department of Transportation says the Route E Bridge over West Locust Creek, northeast of Milan is now open to all traffic.

Heavy Rain Flooded Some Chillicothe Streets Sunday
Several streets prone to flooding in Chillicothe were flooded Sunday evening, during the heavy rain. Sergeant Cody Dysart says this was short-term flooding and the water drained off as the rain quit. Total rainfall at the Litton Ag Center was 29/100. The amounts of rain may have been different around the community.
