Third Street To Close Thursday For Repairs
A portion of Third Street will be closed Thursday, May 18th, for repairs. The contractor for the construction project in the area is repairing the cuts made across Third Street, near the old prison site. The street will be closed from Woodrow to Wilson from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm.
School District Finances
The Chillicothe R-II School District is doing well financially. Superintendent Dr Dan Wiebers says the reserves are looking very good. Dr Wiebers says the district will receive additional funds from the state in the next school year. There was also additional funding approved for the career ladder.

Commissioners To Attend Flooding Program
A training program for flooding will be held at the Chillicothe Fire Department Thursday afternoon. The Livingston County Commissioners will attend the program that starts at 1:00 pm in the training room. The commissioners meet Thursday in regular session starting at 9:30 am in the commission room of the courthouse.
