Area law enforcement had an opportunity for training on Child Sexual Abuse and Interview and Interrogation through a program presented by the Livingston County Sheriff’s Department. Agricultural producers are still seeing the value of the USDA Conservation Reserve Program. Farm Service Agency Administrator Zach Ducheneaux says the total is just over 1 million acres in the latest sign-up. He says the CRP program has limits. The CRP, or Conservation Reserve Program, started in 1985.
