Davis Easement Approved For Industrial Park
An easement for the new Industrial Park was approved by the Chillicothe Board of Public Works. General Manager Matt Hopper says this is for an area on the south side of the Industrial Park Property. Planning and engineering for the industrial park continues.
CMU Projects In Upcoming Budget
As the Chillicothe Board of Public Works is working on the 2024/25 budget, General Manager Matt Hopper says there are no large projects planned for the coming year. Hopper says they will have an electric project. There are no projects planned for the Water or Refuse Departments.

Gallatin Man Arrested In Platte County
A Gallatin man was arrested in Platte County Tuesday morning. At about 9:45 am, Troopers arrested 36-year-old Timothy M. McCann for alleged DWI with drugs and careless and imprudent driving resulting in a crash. No injuries were reported. He was processed and released.
Booked To Serve Sentence
A Chillicothe man who pleaded guilty to DWI was booked into the Caldwell County Detention Center to serve his sentence. Twenty-three-year-old Skylar A. Loucks was booked Monday morning to serve the 10-day sentence.
