Rural Fire Contract Extended

The City of Chillicothe’s contract with Chillicothe Rural Fire Protection Services #1 was renewed.  City Administrator Roze Frampton says the contract has a 90-day notice period. The notification period was missed.  Fire Chief Eric Reeter asked that the 90-day notice period be waived.  The Council approved and the contract was renewed for two years.
