A rural Chillicothe woman convicted of stealing in January of 2024 was arrested by Livingston County Sheriff’s Deputies on a probation violation warrant issued in May.  Fifty-year-old Brandi Opal Peniston was booked into the Caldwell County Detention Center, with bond set at $20,000 cash.

Chillicothe Trash Route Change For Juneteenth

Chillicothe Municipal Utilities will be closed on Thursday for the Juneteenth holiday.  Because of the holiday, Chillicothe residents with a Thursday Trash Route will need to wait to put out their trash until Friday. Thursday Trash Routes in Chillicothe will be picked up on Friday, along with the regular Friday routes.
