The Chillicothe Police Department report several investigations, including for child abuse and burglary on Monday.
At about 2:20 AM, Officers responded to a burglary alarm in the 2800 block of Grand Drive. The business was found to be secure and the activation is believed to be weather related.
9:40 AM, Officers were called for a dispute at a business in the 500 block of West Business 36. The dispute was over billing and was a civil matter.
At about 10:40 AM, Officer made traffic stop in the 600 block of South Washington Street. The driver was given a warning for failing to properly display license plates.
11:50 AM, A traffic stop in the 200 block of North Washington Street resulted in the driver cited for failing to register a vehicle.
4:05 PM, a traffic stop in the 200 block of Locust Street resulted in the driver cited for failing to register a vehicle.
4:20 PM, Officers responded to the 2700 block of North Washington Street and took a report of child abuse. This investigation continues.
8:00 PM, careless driving was reported in the 1800 block of Polk Street. Officers located the vehicle and found the driver to be safe.
8:15 PM, Officer assisted the Livingston County Children’s Division with a hotline call in the 100 block of Asher Street. The report was deemed unfounded.
