The Chillicothe Police Department report for Thursday includes no arrests, but there were several investigations.
About 10:00 am, the School Resource Officer was called to the Middle School for a reported assault. Investigation continues.
11:15 am, an officer investigated a report of suspicious activity in the 200 block of Conn St. They found nothing suspicious.
1:40 pm, Officers were told a traffic signal at Park Lane and Washington and been struck and was pointed in the wrong direction. They checked the situation and contacted MoDOT to have the repairs made.
5:05 pm, Officer monitored at the junction of US 36 and 65 for a tractor-trailer unit that was reported to be eastbound on US-36 from near the Caldwell County line that was losing fuel. The truck was not located.
5:55 pm, Officer helped remove a bat from inside a home in the 700 block of Washington Street.
5:55 pm, Officers took several calls about a family dispute in the 1000 block of South Washington Street. The report states the situation moved to the 900 block of Webster Street. Officers were able to help defused the situation.
6:00 pm, burglary and theft were reported at a home in the 1100 block of Waples Street. Several items were reported taken. The investigation continues.
7:05 pm, Officers responded to Hedrick Medical Center to a reported gunshot injury. They determined the injury was self-inflicted and contacted the Livingston County Sheriff’s Department to handle the investigation.
8:45 pm, Officers responded to a call in the 10 block of Jennifer Lane where they found a person in need of medical assistance. Emergency Services responded to the scene and transported the person to Hedrick Medical.
