The Chillicothe Police Department handled nearly 50 calls for service Sunday, there were several warnings and tickets issued throughout the day.
At about 6:15 am, officers responded to an alarm at a business in the 1000 block of South Washington Street. The door was not locked, they checked the building and locked the doors.
9:30 am, well-being was checked for a person near Danner Park. Officer found the person had walked away from local nursing home. They were returned to the nursing home.
6:50 pm, Officer took a call of illegal dumping in the 500 block of North Washington Street. Investigation continues.
7:35 pm, Officers were called to a city park for child that had been locked inside a vehicle. Officers contacted local vehicle locksmith to assist in unlocking the vehicle for the parent.
