The Chillicothe Police Department had 140 calls for service Thursday, with several investigations in the report.
8:45 am, someone came to the Police Department to speak with an Officer about the accident Wednesday at Ryan Lane and Washington.
10:20 am, Officer assisted Children’s Division with an investigation in the 1500 block of Calhoun Street. Investigation is continuing.
12:45 pm, Officer was at Harvester Road for an investigation of an abandoned vehicle that had been recovered earlier.
1:15 pm, Officers checked on report of a strange odor in business buildings in the 10 block of South Washington Street. The source was not found.
1:45 pm, Officers checked a report of mistreatment of a dog in the 500 block of West Mohawk. They were unable to locate the dog.
2:55 pm, School Resource Officer spoke with a father whose daughter attends CMS and was concerned that they may be drinking.
3:25 pm, Officer responded to the 200 block of Walnut Street for a call of possible child abuse. Investigation is continuing.
4:05 pm, Officers at the Police Department took a report theft of tools from work site in the 900 block of Cherry Street. Investigation continues.
11:25 pm, a business alarm was sounding in the 2800 block of Grand Drive. Officers checked building and found it secure.
The officers also made several stops throughout the day to remove debris that had blown into the roadway.
