The Missouri School Board Association announced the Region 2 winner of the John T Belcher Scholarship is Kaylee Lewis. Lewis was selected to receive the $1000 award. Applicants are judged on the basis of academic performance, extracurricular activities and the quality of an essay submitted with their application.
Lewis is now in the running as a statewide winner of an additional $1500. The statewide winner is selected from the group of 17 regional winners.
Lewis will be honored at the MSBA regional meeting in Brookfield on April 25th.
