Prom for the Chillicothe High School is April 27th and for the young ladies, prom can be a major event. Sadly, some of those young ladies could miss prom for lack of a dress. The Chillicothe KEY Club at the High School does not want that to happen, so a couple of years ago, they started Cinderella’s Closet to help with prom and homecoming. Rachell Wheeler is the Advisor for the KEY Club and talked about how Cinderella’s Closet works.
Wheeler says it is rewarding to help a young lady that otherwise wouldn’t be able to attend prom.
Wheeler says they are accepting donations of prom and homecoming dresses in all sizes. The dresses can be brought to the high school and left at the office. Just let them know they are for the Cinderella’s Closet program.
