Six area 4H members took part in the 2019 Missouri 4-H Teen Conference in Columbia. Livingston County’s representatives in the Youth Leadership event include: Avery Baxter, Bryton Bevelle, Maggie Horton, Maci Johnson, Tristin Johnson, and Lyla Oesch. More than 250 youth statewide participated in the program that included workshops, games, and other fun activities all designed to encourage and help develop their leadership skills.
The weekend of activities, with a theme of Make Your Move in the Game of Leadership, were planned and led by Missouri’s State 4-H Council. Livingston County 4-H members Kyle Hansen, Seth Hansen, and Meredith Oesch serve on the elected council and led by example as they worked with the many teens attending the Teen Conference.
