The Trenton City Council meets Monday and will finalize their budget and handle other business before they accept the election results and swear in the Council and Mayor. Trenton City Council meets Monday at 7:00 pm
Ordinances on the agenda include:
Approval of an agreement with Green Hills Animal Shelter
Amending the sidewalk code for snow removal
A maintenance agreement for IT Services
Adopting the budget for the fiscal year that begins May 1st
And finally accepting the election results.
The final ordinance is the approval of the Memorandum of Understanding for the transfer of funds from the Trenton Electric Department to the Wastewater Fund as a loan.
Unfinished business includes the discussion on the loan of the electric department funds.
The Council will adjourn Sine Die, the winners of the election will be sworn in and the council meeting will resume.
New business includes the appointment of City Clerk, Deputy Clerk, City Treasurer, committee members and the election of the President Pro-tem and the council board assignments.
The final item on the agenda is a discussion and approval of the Normal Street Sewer Project.
