The contract for Chillicothe City Administrator Darin Chappell has been extended for two years. The Chillicothe City Council took the action in Monday’s Executive Session. The contract was amended to allow for automatic renewal on April 1st, for one year periods, until the agreement is terminated by Chappell or the City.
The vote on the ordinance was 3 to 1, with 1st Ward Councilman Denny Albertson voting no.
The amendment of the contract also included the Base Salary, now set at $130,000, with a review prior to renewal of the contract.
