Three people were injured in two accidents investigated by the Missouri Highway Patrol in the area counties.
In Livingston County, Wednesday night, 18-year-old Blayne Hacker of Chillicothe had minor injuries in a single vehicle accident on LIV 235, west of Chillicothe. Troopers report Hacker was westbound and did not make it through a curve. His pick-up went off the road and into a steep ravine before overturning twice. Hacker was not wearing a safety belt and was taken to Hedrick Medical Center for treatment of minor injuries.
Thursday morning in Sullivan County, an accident on Highway 6 near Milan left the driver and passenger injured. Forty-year-old Didier Enswe of Kirksville was westbound at about 5:30 am when he crossed the centerline and ran off the south side of the road, hitting an embankment. Enswe and his passenger, 34-year-old Albertin Kamwezi of Kirksville were both taken to Sullivan County Memorial Hospital for treatment of minor injuries. They were wearing safety belts.
