“Sliced Bread Days” Is July 5th To The 7th

July 7th is officially Sliced Bread Day in Missouri.  The Missouri Legislature approved the bill that gives the official designation and Chillicothe is Celebrating being the Home of Sliced Bread with “The Greatest Event Since Sliced Bread”  July 5th to the 7th.

That’s Amy Supple with Visit Chillicothe.  She says the celebration will start on July 5th and run through the weekend.

Supple says there is a new event at Simpson Park this year.

The Freedom Festival returns To Simpson Park on Saturday, July 6th.  That will include fireworks at dusk.
