Hiring & Resignations In The Chillicothe School Board Executive Session

The Chillicothe R-II School Board approved hiring and resignations in their executive session Tuesday night.  Superintendent Dr Roger Barnes has the announcements.

Barnes says the paraprofessional positions will be filled, but not until closer to the new school year.

The board also heard the concerns of a group that wanted to address them about a “specials” position.

Barnes says the board found some federal funding and they will hire an elementary physical education teacher.

Barnes talked about that funding.

That new teacher could be hired in the next couple of months.
