Three were cited by the Livingston County Sheriff’s Deputies for alleged supplying alcohol to minors. Sheriff Steve Cox released the report today (May 28th) for the enforcement program on May 11th.
According to the report, the deputies and members of the Midland Empire Alcohol Task Force conducted the operation that resulted in a citation for a 48-year-old Chillicothe resident cited in the 1200 block of Washington Street, a 35-year-old Chillicothe resident cited in the 1100 block of Washington Street, and a 50-year-old Chillicothe resident cited in the 300 block of Washington Street.
The funds used to purchase the alcohol was supplied by the Midland Empire Alcohol Task Force.
Cox says the goal is to identify anyone not properly following requirements in selling alcoholic beverages and they intend to follow back with training offered to those three people, area businesses and their employees on legal requirements selling intoxicants.
