A single rollover accident in Harrison County left several teens injured, including one with serious injuries. At about 6:15 pm, 18-year-old Gunnar Goll of Winston was southbound on US 69 when a passenger grabbed the steering wheel, causing him to lose control and the vehicle ran off the road, hit the ditch and overturned.
Twelve-year-old Destini Mitchell of Bethany was wearing a safety belt and had serious injuries. Five other passengers, from 13 to 17 years old, were not wearing safety belts and had minor injuries. They were all taken to Harrison County Community Hospital for treatment
The driver was not injured in the accident.
