A 78-year-old Brunswick woman was struck by a vehicle Sunday in Johnson County. State Troopers report Alma Norris was struck at about 3:25 pm, by a vehicle driven by 42-year-old Brian Ehrlich of Wellsville, Kansas. According to the report Ehrlich was backing up when he struckNorris. Norris was taken to Research Hospital in Kansas City.
State Troopers report three arrests in the area counties over the weekend.
Saturday at 1:30 pm in Grundy County, Troopers arrested 36-year-old Aaron Clark of Princeton for alleged possession of a controlled substance – Methamphetamine, and possession of drug paraphernalia – prior offense. He was taken to the Grundy County Jail.
At about 6:10 pm in Caldwell County, Troopers arrested 43-year-old April Fickess of Polo for alleged DWI – first offense, and speeding – 82 in a 65 zone. She was held at the Caldwell County Detention Center.
Sunday at about 8:25 pm in Livingston County, Troopers arrested 25-year-old Austin Estes of Utica on a Hamilton warrant for alleged failure to appear on a charge of alleged dangerous drugs. He was held at the Daviess Dekalb Regional Jail pending the posting of bond.
