The Power of Pollinators – a program offered by the Department of Conservation, NRCS and FSA offices in Chillicothe and partnering with Quail Forever. Quail Forever Farm Bill Wildlife Biologist Andrew White says he will present the program June 22nd at the Mildred Litton Ag Classroom at the Ag Center. White says there will be a wide variety of information presented.
White says they will wrap up the program with a visit to pollinator plots before a meal provided by the Short Grass Chapter of Quail Forever.
White says pollinators are not just bees.
He says that can include nearly any insect that moves from plant to plant and transferring pollen in the process.
