The Trenton Police Officer that was shot over the weekend is showing improvement. Officer Jasmine Diab remains hospitalized and recovering from another round of surgery. The last update issues was that she had been upgraded to stable condition at the hospital.
A Facebook page to provide support and updates has been established. It is called “Helping Jasmine Diab”
Several fund raisers and donation locations have been set up around Trenton.
Diab was shot over the weekend while transporting a prisoner to St Joseph.
The suspect, 38 year old Jamey Aaron Griffin has been charged in Daviess County with Assault in the First Degree, Armed Criminal Action and Unlawful Use of a Weapon.
