Good News for travelers with destinations to the Northwest corner of Missouri, Southwest Iowa and Southeast Nebraska.
The Missouri Department of Transportation has opened I-29 north of St Joseph for travel with the decreasing levels of Flood Waters.
Traffic may be narrowed to one lane in some locations between St Joseph an dI-80 in Iowa.
Department of Transportation officials in Missouri and Iowa are continuing to keep I-29 open and continue to reopen other routes that were also damaged due to extensive flooding along the Missouri River that began in Mid March
