A few more speeders were recently caught in Livingston County.
The Livingston County Sheriff’s Department had what they called “Special Hometown Traffic Enforcement” projects two days earlier this week.
Sheriff Steve Cox says officers were assigned to look for aggressive or careless drivers, significant speeding and drugged or drunk driving.
Cox said many stops were made and numerous warnings given.
Deputies issued citations for failure to register a motor vehicle annually and operating a Motorcycle with out endorsement and failure to wear proper headgear. Citations were given for driving while suspended/revoked and fourteen drivers were caught for speeding, from three states.
The project was paid for by a Traffic Enforcement Safety Grant.
