Chillicothe Mudcats went 2-1 over the weekend.
Saturday night the Mudcats overcame a 7-2 deficit in the 8th with three runs in each of the final two frames to beat Sedalia 8-7. The Mudcats had two home runs in the game.
The Mudcats split a non-league doubleheader Sunday with the Des Moines area Peak Prospects.
The Prospects took game one after giving up five runs in the top of the 7th inning to win 7-6 .
Chillicothe took the second game of the 7-innings twin bill with a 5-1 win thanks to strong Mudcats pitching.
Today (Monday) The Mudcats play at Sedalia in MINK league play.
