Chillicothe’s Sliced Bread Days Celebration is this weekend, Friday through Sunday.
One of the anticipated attractions is a carnival, a first for Chillicothe in several years.
Crystal Narr with the Chillicothe Area Chamber of Commerce says Toby’s Carnival of Marceline will set up on the eastern side of Simpson Park, near Washington Street.
The carnival will include six or more rides for all ages. Tickets are on sale at four Chillicothe locations including the Chamber of Commerce office. Advanced tickets are only $1 through July 5th.
The cost increases to $2 if purchased at the Carnival. Rides will take one or two tickets pert rider.
The carnival will operate Friday from 6:00 to 10:00pm, Saturday from 4:00pm to 10:00pm and Sunday from 1:00pm to 5:00pm
