The Livingston County Sheriff’s Department tracked down an alleged stolen vehicle on Wednesday.
Sheriff Steve Cox stated a work vehicle filled with tools was stolen from a Chillicothe location. The Sheriff’s Department assisted the Chillicothe Police Department in the case.
The Missouri Highway Patrol saw the vehicle in the western part of the county. The Sheriff Departments officers and K-9 unit responded, locating the suspect in a large brushy area.
Sheriff Cox stated law enforcement officials are “concerned” other vehicles may have been stolen or burglaries took place in Livingston and area counties.
Two vehicles have been stolen in Caldwell County and another possibly stolen vehicle has been recovered.
