A simple, minor accident led to the arrest of one of the people involved, by the Chillicothe Police.
Officers responded to an accident at Third and Washington streets. A vehicle backed up and struck the vehicle behind it.
As a result of the investigation, a driver was arrested on an active Grundy County Warrant. The suspect was processed and released on bond.
The recent thefts of tools continues. Officers took a report of stolen tools from a cargo bed of a pick up in the 10 block of Tenth street.
Officers responded to the 1000 block of Locust street on a repeated fireworks violation. A suspect was taken into custody for the violation, disorderly conduct and resisting arrest. The suspect was processed and released from the Chillicothe Police Station.
Officers responded to the 1500 block of Bryan on a report of a subject with possible mental issues. The subject was transported to Hedrick Medical Center for treatment.
