Improvements to the Hedrick Medical Center Pharmacy Department were approved by the Chillicothe City Council.
A Hospital Spokesman told the council that the improvements are mandated by the U.S. Pharmacopeia.
He described the reason for the mandated improvements.
The entire cost of the project will be paid for by the St Luke’s Health System. There will be zero cost to Chillicothe’s budget.
The project will start in early August so it will be completed before the required deadline.
