A Chillicothe resident who was to appear in court for a sentencing hearing today (Tuesday) at 9am is now in deeper trouble.
James Paul Eugene Haight of Chillicothe was scheduled to appear in court to be sentenced for his role in an October 2018 fire to the Canadian Pacific Bridge south of Chillicothe.
Haight plead guilty in May of Felony Knowingly Burning or Exploding and Felony Property Damage 1st Degree.
A “Capias Warrant” was issued Tuesday morning for Haight to arrest him for failure to appear at his court date.
Two others were charged in the October incident. Destanie Batson’s trial is scheduled for July 16th at 11:00am also for Felony Knowingly Burning or Exploding and Felony Property Damage 1st Degree.
19 year old Kyle Mace plead guilty to 1st Degree Trespass on February 6th and was sentenced to six months in jail, suspended execution of sentence and placed on two years supervised probation.
