Chillicothe police officers responded to 102 calls for service Wednesday.
12:03 am, Four Raccoons invaded a business in the 700 block of Webster Street. Officers were able to get two of them out of the business, but were going to have to attempt removal of remaining two later.
5:42 am, Officer responded to the Junction of US 36 & 65 Highways to a two-vehicle non-injury traffic crash.
10:39 am, Officers conducted a traffic stop at US 65 and Park Lane. During the stop, they found the driver did not have a valid driver’s license. The driver was arrested for Driving While Suspended, processed and released with a court date.
2:36 pm, Officer made a traffic stop on a vehicle by Chilli Bay that was driving by and racing engine and emitting excessive exhaust noise. A warning was issued.
5:41 pm, Officers responded to the 400 block of Polk Street in reference to a dispute over property. No report was taken.
6:31 pm, Officers investigated a possible scam where someone was contacting people via computer and advising that there is a problem with their computer and it can be fixed if the person will allow them access to their computer. The people will take information from your computer and require you to use gift cards or Pay Pal to pay them. This has happened in Chillicothe. Don’t fall for this illegal activity!
6:57 pm, Livingston County Deputy observed suspicious activity at a home in the 1800 block of Calhoun Street. They found the home had been entered. No one was inside. The investigation continues.
8:27 pm, Possible disturbance at a business in the 1000 block of South Washington. Officers took a report of alleged sexual assault that had occurred on a previous date in another jurisdiction, involving a 12-year-old subject and an adult. The complainants were referred to the agency having jurisdiction.
9:06 pm, Officer discovered an unsecured business in the 700 block of Webster Street. The building was checked and secured by Officers.
