A single-vehicle accident left two Chillicothe residents injured Friday night, one with serious injuries. State Troopers report 33-year-old Aaron Sannipoli had serious injuries, and the driver – 57-year-old Marie Osborn had moderate injuries in the accident that happened about 9:30 pm on Route N, 7 miles west of Chillicothe.
According to the report, Osborn was eastbound in a van and ran off the road, hitting a guardrail. Sannipoli was flown to Truman Medical Center in Kansas City and Osborn was taken to Hedrick Medical Center for treatment.
Osborn was also arrested for alleged DWI – resulting in a serious injury accident, no seatbelt, no license plate and careless and imprudent driving resulting in an accident.
