Voters in Rich Hill Township will decide on a General Road District tax levy in a special election, August 6th. In April, Rich Hill Township voters voted no on the continuation of a levy for the road district. If the levy does not pass the funding of the road district will stop at the end of the year.
Rich Hill Township voters are asked to consider a 35 cents per $100 valuation. If approved, the tax would be in place for four years.
If you are not able to make it to the polls to cast your ballot on August 6th, you can vote absentee by stopping at the Clerks Office of the Livingston County Courthouse. Hours are 8:30 am to 4:30 pm. the Courthouse will also be open this Saturday, August 3rd, from 8:30 am to 12:30 pm. Special arrangements can also be made by calling the Clerks office at 646-8000 – extension 3.
