Chillicothe Fire Fighters responded to a report of a fire near Clay and Elm Streets Monday night. The call came in about 7:55 and the fire crew and police arrived in a couple of minutes to find a lot of smoke and trash and household items burning. Firefighters used about 200 gallons of water to put out the fire. The residents were warned of the violation of Chillicothes burning ordinance. The fire crew was on the scene for less than 15 minutes.
