A Newtown Teen had died from a two car accident in Putnam County Wednesday morning.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, a pick up driven by 16 year old Coy Miller of Newtown and a vehicle driven by 21 year old Brady Huffman of Galt met on a hill crest on a rural road Northwest of Newtown.
The two vehicles struck nearly head on. Both vehicles overturned.
Coy was ejected from the vehicle and was pronounced dead at the scene. He was not wearing a seat belt.
A passenger, his brother 15 year old Dale Miller suffered minor injuries and was taken to the Sullivan County Memorial Hospital
The other driver, Huffman, suffered minor injuries and also taken to the Sullivan County Memorial Hospital.
