An armed man from New Cambria was arrested in Chula on Tuesday. Livingston County Sheriff Steve Cox says he and one deputy responded to a report of a man outside a home in Chula.
Cox stated the suspect was acting in a threatening manor and was armed with two large knives.
The Sheriff reported the subject fled into a home, still armed with the knives. The suspect was told he was under arrest, but he refused to comply. He was eventually taken into custody with out incident.
32 year old Todd A. Grigsby was charged with allegedly Unlawful Use of a Weapon, Resisting Arrest and Possession of a Controlled Substance – Methamphetamine.
He was taken to the Daviess Dekalb Regional Jail with bond set at $25,000.
Grigsby was also on parole for burglary. A report will be sent to the Parole Office.
