When it comes to protecting the public and solving crime, sometimes a police officer’s duties involve more than just answering calls for service.
The Chillicothe Police Report for Wednesday’s activities included several finger print details. Officers were at the Livingston County Courthouse for Court Duties and details, and assisted another agency on a dog complaint.
Other activities included retrieving some drug paraphernalia that had been left in the 300 block of Primrose, answering a complaint of subjects in a green 4-wheel utility vehicle driving through yards in the 300 block of Webster, and investigating a possible scam involving theft of funds from a bank account.
Officers also responded to the 400 block of Park Lane on a possible burglary, and spoke with the parent of a child who was allegedly making numerous 911 calls from the 800 block of Trenton road.
