A Braymer man accused of driving a rental truck with out permission appeared in Court Thursday.
Garland Nelson of Braymer is accused of driving a truck rented by Nicholas and Justin Diemel of Wisconsin. The two brothers were in the Braymer area reportedly on cattle business in late July.
Nelson is facing First Degree Felony Tampering With Motor Vehicle, when he allegedly drove the truck to the Holt, Missouri area with out permission.
Nelson’s case was continued for a preliminary hearing setting/waver to Thursday August 15th in front of Judge Kanoy in the Caldwell County Courthouse in Kingston.
Law Enforcement Officials found human remains on a Braymer farm on July 30th. The cause of death have not been determined and the identity of the remains have not yet been determined. Authorities are working with forensic doctors to determine what took place.
It is not yet officially known if the two cases are connected in any way.
