The City of Trenton will soon have a new Electric Distribution Supervisor. Brad Griffin will be promoted to the position effective September 1st.
Griffin will fill the position vacated by Mark Newton, who will retire August 31st.
The Trenton Council approved the promotion which includes a $3,000 per year pay increase and an additional $1,500 after a six months probation period.
The council officially wished Newton a fun and relaxing retirement, and stated they were glad to unanimously promote Griffin and continue the excellent leadership in the Electric Distribution Department.
Griffin’s salary will increase to just over $54,000 a year with the promotion.
