Two long-time 4-H volunteers in Livingston County will be inducted into the Missouri 4-H Hall of Fame on August 17th. Brian and Tena Eggers of Tina, have been supporters of the program since they were members themselves. Shawn Murphy from Livingston County Extension Office says they have taken on many roles throughout the years.
Murphy explains just how involved the couple is in 4-H.
The Eggers have been part of the Livingston County 4-H and FFA Fair for many years. Brian was on the board and served as Fair Board President and Tena has worked with the fair royalty program, keeping that show running smooth.
The 2019 Missouri 4-H Hall of Fame is August 17th at 10:30 am. It is held at the Fred E. Davis Multipurpose Center on the State Fair Community College campus, adjacent to the State Fair Grounds.
