A well being check by Chillicothe Police ended up going into Sullivan County and back to Chillicothe.
Officers responded to the 1200 block of Alexander Street for a reported well-being check. Officers were advised a resident had taken their mother’s purse and vehicle and left the house. The subject was stated as suffering from a mental condition.
Officers found the subject in the vehicle but refused to stop. Officers continued to follow the vehicle Eastbound to Wheeling and North, driving to the Sullivan County Line.
Officers terminated following the vehicle, while Livingston and Sullivan County law enforcement continued the pursuit.
The vehicle eventually returned to Chillicothe and was observed pulling into a business in the 800 block of West Business 36 and stopping.
The subject was found to be extremely disoriented and was transported to the residence. The Mother and Division of Aging took control of the subject.
