Counterfeit bills have been showing up in Chillicothe and the Chillicothe Police Department is investigating the bills they’ve had reported and want to warn the area businesses and residents about the bills.
Officer Marshall Meagers says they have had three bills that were passed and reported to them.
Meagers says if you suspect you have received one of these bills contact your bank and contact the police.
He says if you know someone is trying to pass one of the bills, try and get information that will help track them down.
