The Livingston County Sheriff’s Department report includes several investigations and arrests. The investigations include:
August 19 the LCSO began an investigation where a person in a pickup stopped along Highway 190, removed collars from dogs and dumped several dogs. The investigation is continuing.
August 20 – School Resource Officer Mike Lewis filed a report of an administrative employee finding a student at CHS in possession of a spring-loaded knife. The student was taken to the sheriff’s office, where a parent or guardian was called in. The report is being submitted to the prosecuting attorney and to the school.
August 21 – Deputies completed an investigation of alleged interference with custody as the father reportedly took his two-week summer visit during the wrong month and without prior approval from the other parent. Information will be submitted to the prosecuting attorney for consideration.
Arrests in the report include:
August 20 – 48- year-old Marshall Monroe Cordray Jr on a Missouri Parole Warrant
August 21 – 24-year-old Jesse Lee Reeter on a Livingston County arrest warrant. Reeter was transferred to the Daviess Dekalb Regional Jail in lieu of $4,500 bond.
August 21 – 37-year-old Jessica L. Ishmael of Dawn on a Livingston County warrant for alleged Probation Violation on original charge being class A misdemeanor DWI-Person less than 17 years of age in the vehicle. Ishmael held at the Daviess Dekalb Regional Jail in lieu of $5,000 bond.
August 23 – a speeding stop led to the arrest of 32-year-old Paul M. J. Wetzel of Illinois for alleged 82 in a 65, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, DWI-Drug. The sheriff also seized high-quality marijuana and paraphernalia.
