The road from US 65 to the Chillicothe Wastewater Plant and to the River Access will be realigned starting this fall. CMU General Manager Jim Gillian says the work is part of the bridge rehabilitation project for the Grand River Bridge south of Chillicothe.
Gillilan says the road will be moved north about 150 feet and they may consider raising the road slightly to help with flooding. The entire project will be done at no charge to the City of Chillicothe. Work is expected to start this fall.
