The Livingston County Sheriff’s Department is looking for another Deputy Sheriff. Early last week, Austin Lucky, who was in training to be a road patrol deputy resigned to take a position with an agency outside Livingston County.
Sheriff Steve Cox says they will look through the list of recent applicants and try to fill the opening. He says the first there months in the department is the training period. Cox says the in house training is to learn our policies, procedures, requirements, computer systems, area geography, and people in the community.
