The Chillicothe Mudcats didn’t have the best record during their 2018 season, in which they went 15-25 in the MINK League and missed the playoffs. Nevertheless, the season could be considered a success due to the support the community showed the organization. Mudcats’ head coach Caleb Bounds took some time to express his gratitude those who made the season possible.
Bounds explained that the Mudcats are one of the only teams in the league that don’t charge players to play, thanks to the donations, host families, and even the crowds that show up during the season.
Information on the 2019 Mudcats’ roster and schedule will be made as the season approaches.
