The Missouri Department of Transportation has a variety of roadwork planned for the coming week. That work includes paving projects, mowing and tree trimming. In the local counties, some of the projects include:
Livingston County
US 65 – Microsurfacing work continues on US 65 through Chillicothe. The work is from 8:00 pm to 6:00 am and includes a 12-foot width restriction.
Carroll County
US 65 – Bridge rehabilitation at the Wakenda Creek Bridge through late September.
US 65 – Bridge maintenance at the Shootman Creek and Mound Creek bridges, Monday to Thursday. Temporary traffic signals will be in place.
Chariton County
Route 5 – Pavement repair from US 24 to Route KK, Monday to Wednesday.
Route F – CLOSED for bridge maintenance at the Palmer Creek Bridge, Monday to Thursday, 8 am to 3 pm daily.
Route 11 – Pavement repair from Route E to Route M, Thursday and Friday
Daviess County
US 69 – Shoulder work from US 136 (Harrison County) to Route T, Thursday
US 69 – Pavement repair from Route AA (Harrison County) to Route T, Thursday and Friday.
Linn County
Route U – CLOSED for a culvert replacement from Link Road to Kiowa Road, Tuesday from 8 am to 3 pm.
Bridge Sealing projects:
Route M at the Long Branch Creek Bridge, Monday and Tuesday.
Route V at the Bear Creek Bridge, Tuesday and Wednesday
Route 5 at the Muddy Creek Bridge, Wednesday and Thursday
Route 5 at the US 36 overpass, Thursday and Friday
