The Chillicothe Middle school football teams split on the road at Maryville. The 7th grade Hornets won 46-20.
Scoring touchdowns for Chillicothe were Sylas Midgyett, Langsten Johnson, Brayden Shoop, Jack Burnhardt, Fisk Miller and Luke Nickell.
Picking up two point conversions were Midgyett with 2, Johnson, Bo Smith and Nickell each with one conversion.
The Chillicothe 8th grade lost 26-22. Maryville scored late in the game for the win.
Scoring for the 8th grade Hornets were Matty Douglas, a pass from Alex Gamblain to James Mathew and Gamblain on a quarterback sneak.
